Our buddy Rudi is one of our favorite actors on the planet. You may remember him from our productions of Doctor Faustus and Frogs. He will be starring in a crazy (and apparently pretty gory) retelling of the Donner Party story. The production is called The Tower and it’s presented by the AntiMatter Collective (founded in part by fellow Brown University alumni). Join the party!

A LITTLE ABOUT THE PLAY

Titled for the Tarot card of chaos and collapse, The Tower is a psychedelic journey into the history and mythology of the Donner Party, a group of snowbound pioneers who notoriously resorted to cannibalism to survive a brutal winter. Part loft party, part guided tour, The Tower employs historical fact and hallucinatory speculation in search of the terrible heart of the Donner legend. A vision of adolescent America: frostbitten, bloodstained, ravenous.
