Synopsis

A competitive high school theater program in Texas is under scrutiny when a pair of overzealous theater teachers plan to produce a "controversial" play. As the church-going community and the teachers go toe to toe, the students are the ones who are caught in the crossfire.

Playwright

Vichet Chum is a writer, actor, director & theater maker, originally from Dallas, Texas and now living in New York City. His plays have been workshopped at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the New Harmony Project, Second Generation Productions, Weston Playhouse, Florida State University, Cleveland Public Theatre, All For One Theater and Amios. His play KNYUM had its world premiere at Merrimack Repertory Theatre in January 2018, where he also serves as an Associate Artist. He is the 2018 Princess Grace Award in Playwriting, a 2019 Space on Ryder Farm Working Farm Resident and now serves on the board of the New Harmony Project. He's a proud graduate of the University of Evansville (BFA) & Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company (MFA) and is represented by Beth Blickers at APA Agency. www.vichetchum.com

Tiffany Nichole Greene is a lover of new plays and very excited to be working with Fault Line Theatre! Originally from Houston, Tiffany splits her time between living on tour with Hamilton: An American Musical as Resident Director and freelance directing in theatres across America. Tiffany is a Brown/Trinity Alum and a proud member of SDC.
