Alix Sobler

ALIX SOBLER [she/her] is a theater maker from New York. Her plays have won or been finalists for multiple awards including the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition, the Canadian Jewish Playwriting Competition, the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, and the Jane Chambers Award, among others. She has had work read and produced at theaters around the world, including The Coronet Theatre (London, UK), Roundabout Theater Company (New York, NY), South Coast Repertory (Costa Mesa, CA), The Alliance Theater (Atlanta, GA), The Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), The Segal Centre (Montreal, QC), The Stratford Festival (Stratford, ON), and many more. She has five solo shows which she has performed throughout North America and is an Associate Artist with Fault Line Theatre. She has degrees from Brown University and Columbia University. She lives in Washington Heights with her husband, dog, and cat.
